Ambu® Silicone Face Masks
Ambu Silicone Face Masks are self-inflating for an easy and tight seal. The cuff pressure may be regulated. The mask size 0 with boring impedes ventilation pressures higher than approx. 40 cm H2O, enabling ventilation with an Ambu Mark IV Resuscitator on small children with a body weight down to approx. 15 kg. (approx. 3 years).
- The transparent dome of the Ambu Silicone Face Mask enables you to check the patient's condition, e.g. bleeding, vomit, spontaneous breathing and cyanosis.
- The transparent dome (sizes 6, 5, 4, 2 and 0) is made of unbreakable plastic (polysulphone).
- The texture of the surface of the Ambu Silicone Face Mask ensures that the cuff does not slip, and makes it comfortable to hold during use.
- The dome has been designed to allow a soft rest for the thumb, thus creating an easier grip and ensuring a tight fit on the face (sizes 6, 5, 4 and 2).
Specifications
The Ambu Silicone Face Masks are made of latex free material. Mask dome and cuff are made of polysulphone and silicone, respectively.
The buttoned-on cuff enables easy removal for cleaning. The mask can be autoclaved repeatedly at 134°C.
The Ambu Silicone Mask is available in 6 sizes: sizes 6, 5, 4, 2, 0, and 0 with boring.

Ambu® Res-Cue Mask

The Ambu Res-Cue Mask is designed to provide protected rescue breathing for any patient (any age group) and may also be used with a resuscitator if you detach the filter.
In CPR, mouth-to-mouth has been the traditional way of ventilation in an emergency situation.
With the Ambu Res-Cue mask first responders can provide immediate respiratory support without having any concerns about infectious diseases and the inherent unhygienic nature of the practice thus removing any natural reluctance to carry it out.
Features
The transparent design of the Ambu Res-Cue Mask allows the rescuer to constantly visually check the patient conditions.
The mask is equipped with a head strap for a fixation of the mask onto the patients face. Thus the rescuer does not loose time for replacement of the mask before mouth to mask ventilation.
The Ambu Res-Cue Mask is available in a hardcase or softcase in the Ambu Brand or as private label. For private label a minimum of 1000 pieces (softcase) or a minimum of 260 pieces (hardcase) have to be ordered.
The mask is available with and without oxygen inlet. Thus an oxygen tube can be attached to the oxygen inlet for supplemental oxygen. It comes optionally with an oxygen inlet (optional) facilitates increased oxygen delivery.*
It is a reusable facemask that is easy to clean which extends the product life.
The valvefilter assembly is single use and has to be replaced after each use.

Available in 6 different sizes. Size 0, 1 and 2 are circular models made of silicone rubber. Size 3, 4 and 5 are oval models, dome/cuff type, made of polysulphone and silicone rubber, respectively. All models can be autoclaved repeatedly at 134°C.
