Amongst the benefits is the PASV® Valve technology. This is a pressure activated safety valve that is designed to resist backflow and maintain patency between uses which has shown in bench top testing to reduce the rate of occlusions by up to 78%.

The product range also features a locking collar on the attachable options in the range; this collar allows the catheter to be securely fastened to the port thereby reducing the risk of catheter separation which would require a second surgery to correct. With an enhanced target area, finding the lumen to deliver the chemotherapy is much easier and confortable for both the nurse and patient.
