Augustine Medical HotDog Patient Warming
HotDog® controllers deliver low-voltage direct current (48V DC) to the blankets and mattresses. The “smart” power is controlled and managed by microprocessors and an advanced sensor system. Temperatures for the warming components can be independently controlled at 1°C increments. The controllers are IV-pole mountable. There is a 3-year warranty for controllers.
HotDog warming mattress overlays are specifically designed to provide safe warming under the patient (36-39°C settings). The fabric heater is laid over pressure-relief foam, providing a uniformly heated, pressure-neutral pad between the patient and the table surface. The outer shell is a non-porous Urethane embedded with an anti-microbial agent that prevents the growth of micro-organisms—designed for easy cleaning. The mattresses have a 2-year warranty and a 30-month expiry.
